Remove PM Modi's Mother's AI Video: Patna High Court to Congress (X)
PM Modi AI Video: In a major order, the Patna High Court has instructed the Congress to remove the AI-generated video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother, Heeraben Modi, from all the social media platforms.
It is to be noted that the decision came after the AI-generated video shared by the Bihar Congress caused major political row. Later, the BJP government accused the opposition party of disrespecting the PM's late mother. Responding to the allegations, the Congress hit back, stating that it did not disrespect Heeraben Modi anywhere in the video.
Notably, on September 10, the Bihar Congress shared the 36-second video, marked "AI GENERATED" which in which the "Prime Minister is seen dreaming about his late mother Heeraben Modi, who is criticising him over his politics in poll-bound Bihar."
In response to it, the BJP and NDA allies have criticised the act and accused the Congress of such "shameful" act to target the Prime Minister. The BJP leader also stated that the video was released ahead of the as a political provocation ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled to held this year.
Reportedly, on the basis of the complaint filed by Sanket Gupta, convenor of the BJP Delhi Election Cell, Delhi Police took action and registered a case against the Congress and its IT cell on September 13, in connection to the video.
It is to be noted that PM Modi also responded sharply, and called the as "unimaginable" and "an insult to all mothers, sisters and daughters of the country".
